So, I went to the doctor's office for my 2 week checkup today. Everything is going well.
Great News! I'm 254 lbs (which is 16 lbs less than my pre-surgery weight of 270). I'm calling it 24 pounds lost in 4 weeks, though, since I lost 8 lbs during the 2 week no carb diet prior to surgery.
Ben's surgery is exactly two weeks from today, so he has just begun his "no carb" diet. To celebrate, I went through and re-organized my fridge, freezer, and pantry. I even got out the label maker. I purged food we won't be able to eat (like popcorn). Some went into the trash, and some of the better, unopened, things will go in to work with me tomorrow so I can share it with co-workers. ORGANIZING IS FUN!!! WOO-HOO!!!

Thank you for your posting. It has opened up a maket I didn't know existed. I have been using and marketing the regular XS since it came online with Quixtar/Amway Global. I personally use them daily and like all the flavors.
Jen, Thanks for your online diary. This is going to be a great testimony to follow! I live in NW Florida and have several friends who have had or are contemplating the surgery.
