EASTER AT THE ER

Who knew? I had awesome plans for my Easter dinner. We invited my parents over for a yummy feast. Well, I started with the potatoes, and the plans sorta changed. Many of you know that I am the owner of a multitude of amazing Pampered Chef tools. I chose an excellent slicer thing to slice my potatoes to make scalloped potatoes, and, well, sliced part of the tip of my finger off as well. We couldn't get it to stop bleeding so we ended up at the South Fulton ER. The gave me a Tetanus shot and tortured me with stuff that should have stopped the bleeding and didn't (oh MY GOD, the pain!), wrapped it up which I quickly bled through and then gave me a few more gauze pads, said to keep applying pressure and it will eventually stop bleeding. It eventually did, but Mom had to come help make Easter dinner which was yummy, and now typing is a nightmare and please don't get offended if it looks like I am shooting you the bird with my right hand.... It was my birdie finger and it has a pretty big bandage on it... (-:

I have tons more to blog about as it's been a long time, but typing really hurts and I keep pushing too many keys and having to fix it. (That's why I'm home... My whole job is about typing up people's answers while I interview.... typing fast is essential to my job!!!) And wow, my right hand is sore from holding up this middle finger so it doesn't touch my keyboard.... hopefully tomorrow I can get my bandage to a smaller size...

Anyway maybe I'll take some pictures of my gardening and my finger (wrapped, don't worry!) and post them later....
